Ive used my telescoping dock pole as a wisker pole. It has a small 1/2" ball on the end that just socks into the clew, and the other end is braced against the roof slider rail.

i am going down to Tampa and Clearwater in the next few days ....i am also going to dons salvage while there if you like i will look for one there and let you know what i find if any .......

Caguy, not in strong winds I hope.

In strong winds there is no problem keeping the sail full without one. This is usually dd wind coming down the channel. The wind most of the time is off by about 5* and if the wind is low the genoa collapses. The dock pole was a quck and easy fix that works great.
BTW there was a guy in MDR with quite a few spinnaker and whisker poles advertised on craigslist. That would be the Los Angeles Craigslist. I was looking for an Assym Spin at the time.
