Want New Oven/Stove Combo

I do not like the alcohol stove/oven on my Vision 32. Considering a propane system. Would like to know options that other people have tried as well where they store the propane system.

What don't you like about your alchol stove? Is it an Origo?

A new propane system is going to cost about $1500-2000 plus installation.

Each model of boat is quite different, so only HV'32 will have a similar configuration. The aft lazarette seats on your HV'32 may not be a bad place to install a propane locker (if it would fit).

Check with Sure Marine for an actual estimate.

Are you pressurized or absorption? If the latter, I used to use methyl hydrate but ethanol (marine alcohol, also available at building stores as shellac thinner) has far more btu's and is therefore hotter and does a better job. Proper propane conversion is a major undertaking.

It is absorption, I have only used marine alcohol. Have you used the oven? Stove top I find alcohol fine, but not so much for the oven.
