Anyone know of a supplier that sells the wall-lining (decorative material)on my Hunter 1976? I was told Hunter sells it. I called them and they claim they do not. Has anyone use regular head-liner material used in autos? Response appreciated. M.C.

I have a less expensive solution
YOu can use indoor/outdoor carpeting, it costs a LOT less than any hull liner. My husband & I are in the process or refitting our 1979 Hunter 30 and we are going to use indoor/outdoor carpeting. I've already been to the flooring store and the cost could be as low as .57 cents a yard (width is 12 feet). I've done a lot of reading and it seems that many owners have replaced the ugly brown hull liner with carpet. I believe that Don Casey has said that carpet is an acceptable replacement material. So, you can spend 14.99 & up per yard for Marine Hull Liner or you can spend around $1.00.

I believe that you can use any carpet adhesive that is safe for fiberglass. My husband has been looking at carpet adhesives in the hardware store & severl brands say that they are safe for fiberglass. Do you own Don Casey's "This old Boat"? I highly recommend it, if only for the fact that he says that you don't have to go to a marine supply store to buy products for your boat.
