What year did Catalina start making walk-through transoms on their mid-sized boats?

C 320s have always had them

since the introduction of the boat in 94 or 95. I don't know when the others got them.

Done well or just done?

The C-30 Mark 3 was introduced with a walk-through transom in 1993. This was done fairly well and included a small swim platform on the stern and a wider transom than the earlier models.It was possible to order a Mark 2 starting in 1990 (or perhaps a little earlier) with a walk-through transom, but this was little more than a cut-out through the stern and the aft lazarette. There was no swim platform or shower for this model.Steve
