some of the AMC off-grid camp sites around here use bark mulch to "flush" their outhouse toilets. Not much smell and great for the garden in mere months. You can get 2 gal ziploc bags. They are pretty good for sealing everything up in transport.

But just for flowers and shrubs, human waste should never be used on a vegetable garden!

very good point. I have noticed that the AMC huts don't sell home groom veggies.
It does seem kind of impracticable to bring big bags of bark mulch sailing anyhow.
