Waeco Adler Barbour freezer part needed

Hi, I am new to this forum (or any forum for that matter). I found you while searching for Adler Barbour parts.

I am having a problem with the freezer of my 7 year old Beneteau 473. The freezer is working well ... but contantly. My refrigeration repairman wants to replace the system, but I think that it is only thethermostat which is not operating properly.

Has anyone advice about where I can purchase a replacement for this C1712JR680 anolog thermostat.

Is the thermostat probe still touching or close to the evaporator plate?

The thermostat probe is not touching the evaporator plate and ends at a terminal fixed to the plate. (I read about this in an older forum and double checked).

I have received a prompt reply from Wacoe, thanks to the website given yesterday. I have to get the model and serial number from the Cold Machine and they should be able to find a compatible replacement.
