Recently purchased a cutter powered by a Pathfinder and find little information related to operation and maintenance. Comments from various diesel mechanics are general in nature. Anyone have a direct line with US factory where details are available.

try to find info on a Cal owners site. They installed many of these Volkswagen based engines in new boats.

VW Repair Manual

A 1980 VW repair Manual would give you all the information that you would need for repair of any non-marine specific items. Ois changes should paobably be every 50 hrs. if you operate it at high output levels. This would correspond roughly to 3000 miles on the interstate.
