Volvo MD 2030 whistles at 2,000 rpm

My Volvo Penta MD 2030 makes a whistling sound at around 2,000 rpm, when in gear. The noise goes away at 2,200 rpm. No noise when the engine is revved up in neutral.
So far I have not been able to isolate the sound.
Has anyone had this issue.

Had the same problem with my previous boat - westerbeke at 2200. Turned out to be prop. Changed from 2 blade folding to three blade feathering and it went away.

That is a good possibility I changed how I coat the prop to Pettit zinc paint this year. Thanks
