Volume Controls

I am trying to find a decnt volume contol that I can use to control the sound level in different cabins in my boat.Most of the ones I have seen used are not marine grade and crap aout after about 1 monthHas anyone had any luck finding better ones than the 'radio shack? style?

Quality sound on a boat

George; Try a local alarm company who does A/V systems. A company called Russound probably has products that you need, I've used them several times, and feel that they should hold up in a marine environment. If you only have 2 sets of speakers,consider using a quality name-brand car stereo.I bought a Pioneer reciever through Crutchfield and everyone raves at the results.The fader let us select cockpit, cabin or both. Using Russound's impedance protection volume control should allow you more flexibility. Hope we were helpful.
