I know that I had an asymmetrical and the fellow who purchased mine had all tape drive sails and another spinnaker made for racing. I had a spinnaker halyard pulled. The slot is already there in the mast. It was hoisted at the mast; don't know if Rodger moved it back or not. Tacked at the same place the jib did. Hope this helps.

Suggest contacting a local rigger. I just replaced my main, jib and assemetyrial spinnaker halyards, all the rest of the running rigging (back stay, vang, outhaul, downhaul, 2 reef lines) and installed tag lines for future spinnaker and spinnaker pole this week. It took 1 day and was cost competitive to what it would cost me on my own.

Stephen, you're gonna have fun with that sail. We added one a couple of years ago and really enjow it. I've found though that the Tacker gets in the way . . your results may vary. have you rigged up an adjustable tack line? I've found that it helps to broaden the points of sail that it can be used.

The UK asymmetrical spinnaker I launched for the first time last weekend with an ATN tacker and dousing sock worked great – it released clean and doused fast and clean. The tacker is set up with a snap shackle and clip. The spinnaker gained extra speed and righted the boat. Highly recommend the ATN’s dousing sock and tacker. I purchased the lower cost Neil Pryde parallel beads but dropped them into the water and they suck since they do not float vs the tacker and they do not come with a snap shackle and clip like the tacker. My diver, however, recovered the beads.
