Really? Are you sure that's the source? There isn't a lot of torque on this joint owing to the free-standing mast. I'd be really surprised. Have you pressurized the interior to trace the leaks? If not, that should be your very first step. As to the joint configuration, better you check with Hunter. As far as chasing a leak via pressurization, see the search routine and if you can't find it, re-post here. Good luck!
