Virus warning / SPAM

It seems our list has been attacked by the double curses of the Net:
SPAM (I am referring to the 2-3 blatantly commercial messages over the
last 3 weeks, in particular the dating service one) and Viruses. I just
today received a message ostensible from "AlbinVega-unsubscribe" (which
I would never dream of doing, btw) which had the subject line
"Congratulations" and basically contained the KLEZ worm. Just thought
to warn y'all - I'm not sure there is much the list owner can do about
either problem...

This is weird. I got neither the span you mention or this worm one. Did
other list members receive these?

Dear Tom,

I am reading most messages from your valued site.

So far, I never had any trouble with viruses. I have a Norton anti virus
scanner on my computer which would have notifies me. Moreover, my
provider www.planet.nl
is eliminating supicious mail . They never mentioned anything
suspicious.

What is do get is a lot of junk mail from sales people of medicines and
sex sites . Time and again I block those sites , but they succeed in
coming back under different names.

Hi Henk--you have to go into your computer and eliminate the cookies that are associated with your mail--this will stop a lot of junk coming your way. jorgen
