Vinyl Liner "limpy"

The vinyl liner in the forward stateroom is "peeling" off the wall. It appears to have had a foam backing and then was just glued directly onto the "glass" on the interior. Even if I replace this vinyl/foam what sorta glue should I use...

Contact adhesive is what you would use to re-attach

May not be related, but the foam backing can disintegrate with diesel fumes. People glue it back up, but it looks bad. Is there a dirty dust/scum behind the liner? If so it would mean replacing the liner altogether.

You got a big job coming up if there is a lot of liner. The foam disintegrates over time into dust and the only good way to deal with it is to replace the material. I had to do this on my little Beneteau 235, and made some videos to capture the horror....
