I use a product called Roll Off for simple weekly deck cleaning. It does a good job especially when I hit the bird crap and let it sit a few minutes before the light scrub and rinse. The decks come fairly clean but was wondering if a mixture of white vinegar + baking soda would do a better deep down cleaning and is it better for the environment? Also, how might it work on cleaning teak?

Thanks

for teak--plain sea water is more effective then mixing an acid plus a base to negate it all but salt and water. why pay money when gods give ye a perfectly good teak cleaner in the sea. at no extra charge....

I followed Zeehag's advice and it does a great job on natural teak. I did follow up with a teak sealer and the results are great.

If you are all the time in sea water to don't need teak sealer. Just a once a week scrub.
