I know that West Marine sells a VHF/FM converter so you can hook up a stereo to your VHF antenna, therefore eliminating the need for a second antenna...but they want 40 bucks for the thing!!! Why cant you use the TV type converter, they have the 300/75 ohm split that I think is needed, and Radio shack has those for 10 bucks. Can anybody enlighten me? Thanks for the help
