Vessel Assist hits my boat

The issue is not about me, or my personal property. It is about the fact that a visiting boat contracted by a large corporation came into a marina and hit another boat. The skipper of the visiting boat should have notified the Dock Master of the incident, but did not and departed the area. Obviously there was no damage so for me, no harm done. But, since the Dock Master is the voice of the marina, she (or he) can easily ban Vessel Assist/BoatUS from entering this restricted area all because some skipper did not have the common courtesy to report the incident. And this is what this is about, common courtesy. Be responsible for you and your craft's actions.

The option of the HarborMaster notwithstanding; if the operator of a BoatUS boat (many of them I know and respect) drifted into my boat, examined and then said there was zero damage from the contact, that's the end of the story, full stop.

People need to go sail.

I wouldn't want to be the harbormaster that banned towboats, that could be a bigger problem than an absence of reporting on the level you desire.
