Congratulations on your new boat and welcome to the forum!! You will be able to receive lots of good advice here. The forum will have a lot of guidance on this subject and you can do an internet search on rigging jib sails and sheets. Since you do not have tracks or cars what cabin deck hardware, e.g., blocks, fairleads, cam cleat, winches do you have for the jib? The following is a start.

The youtube video shows how to rig the jib sail to forestay, assuming you do not have a roller furling jib (
) . Then:
  1. Tie the Jib sheets to the jib sail clew with bowline knots.
  2. Run the jib sheets through the jib block or fairlead, if you have them, to the cockpit.
  3. Run the jib sheets through the jib cam cleat or clockwise once or twice around the jib winches, whichever one you have.
  4. Put stopper knots on the loose ends of the Jib sheets.

OK............reading this thread I could buy into NO jib sheet stopper knots.
