My Chrysler 26 has no ventilation. Where do I start. What is best and water proof. Years ago I used cowl vents with dorade boxes but they did snag the jib sheets. How is your boat equipped. By the way we launched our boat today after many hours of work to refurbish it. (and money).

Hi Don:I have a 34 footer that had a ventilation problem in the v-berthI went with 2 Nicro Power Vents, one forward pulling and one aft cabin exhausting. The one forward can be sealed off in the event of rough weather. They are low profile and do not interfere with the lines. They are also solar powered so you don't have to be moving or have a wind blowing to keep the boat fresh.Works for me!
