Sorry to disappoint you

but the other items had to do with the ability of the pump to push water over the loop in dry mode. And I'm going to see that for myself!!! But don't think you've heard the last of me. The Commodore and I have gotten the cruising bug and we are on a 7.5 year plan: 2 years coastal cruising and learning followed by 3 or more years living-aboard (not our little H31, for sure. I work from home and couldn't imagine spending 5 years in that tiny cabin all the time. Besides, we don't need to cut costs that much.) Probably the last year we'll move ashore for a while to do necessary re-fits and upgrades to the cruising boat. Then, o/a 1/24/2013, we will head west/south for as long as we are having fun!. So these 2 years are dedicated to learning as much as possible. Thanks for your help. Cheers, Bob s/v X SAIL R 8

Peggie...

Two rules to live by: 1. It's NEVER too early for Scotch and 2. It's ALWAYS beer o'clock somewhere

Hear, Here

Spoken like a true, wise Bob. As the parent of 4 teenagers, I should point out that you missed rule #3, the one about never having children....... Of course, if I had no kids, I proably wouldn't need (or have an excuse) to drink!!!!
