Vented Loop

Curious how often do you clean the valve on your vented loop. I ran my engine on the hard and noticed a drip of water coming from under the sink. I followed it up the the vented loop siphon break. What is the standard maintenance for these?

Can you unscrew the valve and rinse it out or is it easier just to replace it?

You can unscrew it and replace the duckbill valve if necessary.
