Peggie I have a porta potty of my Hunter 23.5 and wondering if there is a vent system that can be added. I do not intend to pump out or anything like that just want to get the slight odor outside. Thanks for all you do for us. Bob

Portable portapotties are unvented.

There's no practical way TO vent a tank that's carried off the boat to be emptied...'cuz you'd be constantly connecting and disconnecting the vent line. That being the case, it's possible (though curable) that your portapotty could be the source of odor n your head--or in the absence of a real enclosed head, the area around the portapotty--but I don't see how your portapotty could be the source of any odor outside the boat. What DO you mean by "outside???"

Solar Vent

You could install a solar fan in the v-berth. Essentially whole is cut through the deck. Then install an access tube with a sealing screw cap. When you want the vberth vented (odor or heat), remove the cap and insert the solar fan. Markdb
