Velcro on the Main

Greg ... s/v Passin' Win

I took my new 94 H23.5 sailing this weekend... I noticed on the main that there is a Velcro strap at each seam... what are these for?

Hi Greg, I have a Hunter 320 with a velcro flap on the main. On my boat if you open the velcro flap you will find the Leech line. This is an adjustable rope which is used to prevent your mainsail from fluttering in strong winds. Mike s/v Alymanda
