Hello Vegatarians:

Staring out the window looking at the grey snowfilled sky and thought I would monitor the site and see what's up. Hope Diana and I did not through a wrench into the plans for this year. Regardless of the decisions of the group I am sure we will get together with many of you this summer, somewhere. I appreciate that Peter is suggesting more than one opportunity to meet as we all travel around the islands at different times. Jim and Gloria will be cruising for July and August and I am sure they will want too attend wherever and whenever we meet. All the best to everyone and thanks for including us.

It must be intuition because I just had a call from Jim and Gloria. They are fine to come for a reunion at Deer Harbor on July 1,2,3. Hopefully it is not too late to reserve space. Remember that Jim is driving a 35 footer now so he needs plenty of space. Those of us without showers and freezers will have to stay close to the mother ship for cold drinks and hot water.

To all Vegatarians,
It is official, we have sold the Wren,trailer,truck,Zodiac and outboard to Mike and Pam Flynn of Seattle and have replaced her with the"mothership" I did not make it a stipulation to attend the rendevous, but it is understood-they will make a great addition to the group. Yes, she(the mothership) has hot water and cold drinks-the old bones just needed a little more comfort. Just give me plenty of room docking-she feels a bit large so far. We will miss seeing Chuck and Laura, but if they make it anytime during the summer, I'm sure we will all meet up. We look forward to Deer Harbor and seeing all our old friends, and the new vegatarians(we loved Sheila's definition)--

Congratulations, Jim & Gloria. I'd heard rumors about such a move. Sounds like you scored a really nice boat.

We look forward to a tour at the Rendezvous, whatever date is chosen! I hope the Flynn's make it too.
