Thanks everyone,

The idea seems well received. One other advantage I forgot to
mention is that the electronic version will be in color. Except for
snapshots that I am forced to scan on a B&W only scanner, as in the
current issue, most of the pics I've published have been in color, so
are all the little clip art thingies i use. I can't post the
Newsletter here though because only about a third of the participants
here are members of AVA (hint) d:^) An easy temporary solution would
be to post it at my MSN site as a test. That way I can control
access until we can get a better handle on the AVA web site.

Let me put this issue to bed and get it out. Then I'll do some
experimenting. I'll keep you all posted.

One other solution may be to email it direct as an attachment but only
to a list of us paid-up AVA members who give permission to send it to us
direct via email attachment. You could build a list and send it to all
at once, thus controlling who gets it and having to do it only once.
That would be fine with me as a receiver--in fact, even easier than
having to go to a web site deliberately to download it. I suspect
others who are interested would agree.
