Hi
We are coming to the end of our refit. It is time to look at a new
dodger for the boat. I am wondering if any of the North American
owners have bought one from Genco. They have built some for Vegas.
What did you think of the quality/service/design of their product?
Is there another company on this side of the pond that you would
recommend?

Hi All

There is always the UK Vega Club. Diana makes a great Vega Dodger
(Sprayhood) complete with all fittings. FIts perfectly to all Vegas apart
from Series III. Contact her on diana@... QUite a few Vega
owners in the USA have bought this dodger. I am sure they can give you
comments etc. Good price as well.

We purchased one of Diana's custom dodgers a couple of years ago and are
quite happy with it. It looks great, is taller than the original, and has a
sturdy frame that you can grab hold of when returning to the cockpit from the
foredeck. For seem reason, due to the cut, it is also much easier to step
around when entering the cockpit. We feel it was also at a great price
considering the fine quality. You can't go wrong getting one of Diana's dodgers!

I too installed one of Diana's dodgers this past spring. Fit's great right
as received and looks outstanding. I agree that because of the cut and
mounting location it is easier to get into the cockpit than the original,
which is probably in part due to the fact that it doesn't flex like the
original.
