To all:
The sad day has come for me to sell my Vega. I am relocating across
country and can't afford to move her. "Prudence" is in excellent shape,
beautiful and ready to sail. Located in Clearlake, Texas (near Houston).
Asking $11,000 USD. Here are her specs:
- Normal Vega layout, no modifications
- Hull #3178 (1977)
- Forest green hull, white deck, nice teak locker covers and grab
rails
- Matching green canvas (2 yrs old): roller furling, dodger, bemini,
sail cover, cockpit cushions, spray guards, wench covers, grab rail
covers
- Bottom job last year (March 2001)
- Volvo MD7A 13 hp diesel (~500 hrs) - runs great (cruise at 5.5
knots)
- Harken roller furling
- Lewmar wenches
- Sails: original main, 150% genoa, storm jib, cruising spinnaker
- Garmin GPS/Depth sounder; compass; CD player; VHS radio
- Danforth Anchor w/ 150' rode, 15' chain
- Head w/ holding tank
- s.s. sink with fresh and salt water pumps
- alcohol stove
- inside/outside table
- marine A/C
I realize almost everyone on this list already owns a Vega, but I
thought maybe you could pass this along to anyone you may know who is
looking for one. It would be great for a Vega enthusiast to buy it. I
have posted a few pics in the photo album under "Prudence." I don't have
any pics of the cabin right now, but I can get some if anyone needs
them. Please email me if interested or if you have any
questions/comments (jtunnell@...).
Thanks,
James
