Hello!
One of the problems with my recently bought Vega 1005 is that the seacock connected to the head has sometime in the past lost its handle, reducing it to being operated with a spanner. During our transit trip home one of my crewmembers "lost the position" of the valve, ie. turning it forward when he should have turned it backwards to close it.
So, my question is:
How to tell when the seacock is closed? It seems that while the head lever is in 'dry bowl' position the water disappears from the head when I pump, no matter in which position the seacock is in. The pump might give more resistance in some positions, though
I'll have to go and find a new handle for the valve as soon as possible.
