I was just browsing around on the net this morning, and took a look at the Maptech web sight. Just waiting on it to quit raining. They have a cursor read out for lat and lon just like other sites. But low and behold, the Maptech site shows me living at 41N, which isn't too far south of Chicago. Google Earth, the Garmin software in my computer, my chartplotter and hand held all show me living at 30.13N. I sure hope that the Maptech charts are a little more accurate than the web site. Would be kind of hard to navigate with more than 10 degrees of error.

What's that rain is that like water or something,if it's wet send it to us for sure we need it to put out those fires at lake Okeechobee. Plus I need more water to go through this fall. Nick

It's the wet stuff

that falls out of clouds. Would be happy to send some your way if I knew how. We had some really hard rain here late yesterday afternoon, and most of the night. I understand how much you need it, and we have had enough to last a while.

Map Tech isn't giving you free charts

NOAA is. Take a look here for free RNC (Raster), and ENC (S-57 Vector) charts.
