I just about have all my teak ready for varnishing the interior wood. Has anyone heard of or used the new "Teak Gold"? I think it made by Interlux. I would appreciate any feedback.

No but, you sure you don't want to use Sikkens Cetol? It will produce a natural, matt finish and not look varnished but will stand up like varnish

I used Interlux 60 satin finish varnish. Two coats. Removed every piece of teak that would come off and did it in a protected area of our basement. Tackled the job in stages I.e. Galley, head, quarter berth so I didn't get frustrated and try to rush the job. Great outcome. Used cetol on the exterior, I thought it was a bit too translucent to let all the beautiful grain show through for the interior work, also a bit orange...

Which exact Sikkens Cetol product did you use? The satin or satin marine light?

Thanks,
Justin
