When I got fuel last month when I went to the "shack" to pay, I noticed behind it, dozens of 5 gallon containers labeled "Valvetech". So I asked the "kid", the Valvetech fuel doesn't come pre-mixed ?
"Nope, we take care of you"
"Huh" says I.
Some details, small harbor 3500 boats, one fuel dock 16nm to another, year round use, a Catalina ferry that burns 1500 gallons a day, home port for Nordhavn, lots of tourist and whale watching boats, they must be getting fuel deliveries weekly and maybe every few days in summer.
I'd assume it came pre-mixed from whatever nearby refinery it was shipped from. As hypersensitive as they are around here about spills I can't think this is a preferred method.
Anyone got some insight on the methods Valvetech USUALLY gets into our fuel ?
This was triggered by the ULSD thread which I didn't want to hijack, I was just surprised to see the jugs and had never seen them before.
