Hi Ray,

I\'m still around. I\'ve been sorting a few problems, including a leaky sterngland which resulted in my finding water in the cabin six inches above the cabin sole and a ruined battery, and a non-functional starter motor. M.E.S have been dealing with matters. They rang me today to say that they left Vagrant too high up the slipway at YFand that she is therefore effectively neaped until next Wednesday\'s high tide!! So if you\'re around the slipway over the weekend, that\'s where you\'ll find me! I\'ve been using Graham Hobby\'s mooring just off the end of the slip while the work is underway, and I\'ve seen Tortuga on her mooring. In fact, it was seeing Tortuga on her cradle in the yard over the past few winters that gave me the idea of looking at Vega\'s in the first place.

When we eventually meet, perhaps I can tell you about the "exciting" trip I had towing Vagrant from Rowen Bay to the slip with my inflatable and a 2.3 Honda strapped alongside. I won\'t be doing that again soon!

See your Vega has moved again. Any problems with the Rowan Bay mooring?

Been looking out for you on board but keep missing you. I should be
sailing locally in the straits this weekend. If your around give me a
shout (Ch 69).
