I BOUGHT A VENTURE 24 ABOUT A YEAR AGO AND HAVE BEEN RESTORING IT. MY QUESTION IS: DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW THE POPTOP WAS ORIGINALLY RAISED AND LOWERED. IT IS A BIT HEAVY SO I SUSPECT THERE WAS SOME SORT OF DEVICE TO HELP...ANY INFORMATION, PICKS, ILLUSTRATION ETC. WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED....THANKS

I have a '74 25 ft and the pop up IS heavy, but not so bad I've felt obliged to change it. I push it up with my head and shoulder...once its up there's little strain if you've remembered to keep the supports within reach!
