V birth replacement hatch for Hunter 27

My old V birth Hatch a Grey Enterprise needs repair on a Hunter 27 dated 1981. Where do I find a replacement hatch to fit?? Footprint size ID Front 17 1/2 x Rear ID 19 5/8 x Length ID 18 5/8. email jchmoorrr@aol.com

Repair?

Jeff, I have a 1977 H27 which I am totaly refurbishing. I do not know who made the hatch , Probably Briggs & Straton or the like , however, mine was badly cracked and I had it repaired here in town and it looks brand new.I am very pleased with the job which cost $75.00. Front hatch

On the front hatch, the original on our 1982 H-27 was shot and the new replacements from Bomar (Pompanette) were too expensive so, I got a closeout deal on a square one about the same size and at 1/3 the cost. It required cutting into the deck and the cabin liner a bit but with some creative faring using filler, the results are fine. Besides, I think the replacement trapezoidal hatches also need a little cutting to work. There are many articles in the archives on this subject.
