So last time I was down at my boat I noticed the wood bulging in the V Berth. A closer look showed that when full the tank had roughly 2 inches of bow. Maybe 1 inch on the outside wood. Anyway, replacing that tank would be quite a chore and expense so I wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem. I was thinking of adding some reinforcement, most likely painted metal but possibly wood. Maybe an oak 2x4 on its side, but then that would probably bow as well.
So has anyone else had this concern? If so, what did you do about it?
