I was thinking this could be done just over the sink on the starboard side.

I was told, by a Welshman, that the Irish gave the bagpipes to the Scotts as a joke,

but the Scotts never caught on.

Well Will
That maybe be true but the pipes scared the English to near death so the Scots kept them. They were later considered instruments of war and is the only instrument that could create such courage that many pipers received a Victorian cross. I actually haven’t been able to play recently as I had hernia surgery. It will be a while.

I actually
Gawd, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope my little joke didn't make you pull something laughing. I've tried to blow into a pipe stem before and I'd swear it can't be done, except the owner ood the pipes managed quite well. I'll stick to my harmonica.

Ha! The pipes are the reason for my hernia believe it or not. Takes a lot of stomach muscles to push that air through. But yes I thought that was super funny :0)
Thanks

Shazam! Dana got famous and he only spent Two Years Before the Mast! There has got to be a book in your story of deprivation!
Wife @ the time was 5' flat. V-berth worked OK for us.
Perhaps I should have said I owned a boat w/a v-berth for 18 years. Most of the time I was off working on rich folks boats or other vessels, so I probably only slept in the v-berth for 6 or 7 years all told.
