I am interested in replacing the v-berth door in my Catalina 30. This is currently a multi-fold door made with very flimsy woven wood strips. Has anyone designed something more interesting to close off their v-berth? Thanks.
Bill - Lots of people have been making solid wooden doors to fit where the wooden curtains went. Check out the tech stuff at www.catalina27.org - different boat but similar application. My boat will have nice curtains made to cover the doorways rather than wood to reduce unnecessary weight. Justin - O'day Onwers' Web
