Using Vodka to Winterize Fresh Water System?

So I have 3 liters of expensive hand cleaner in my small (20gal) water tank over the winter. I don't really use the tank for drinking water but like to think I could if I had to.
With no hot water or pressurizing systems to worry about the vodka/hand cleaner method works for me.
As MaineSail suggested I never really understood why people put that nasty smelling/tasting pink stuff in their water tanks in the first place.
The anti-freeze (nerve medicine) I use in my body is the same stuff that goes into my H2O tank.
Do you know how bad 'pink' or 'purple' taste? Yech, purple.
I'd rather eat fruitcake.

Nobody actually eats Fruitcake. There was only ever one fruitcake made and it has been re-gifted ever since....
That darn fruitcake has really made the rounds...
My freshwater system consists of a 3 gallon plastic jug and some bottles, but this year I'm going to make sure it does not freeze by God!!!! Someone grab the bourbon before it drops below 70* here in Savannah!!!
