Well, I guess 18 years is about as long as you can expect out of a mainsail. On a beautiful wing-on-wing run Sunday we finally blew it out 
The local sailmaker is willing to fix it but made it clear that it's mostly a lost cause. He wants ~$1000 for a new one which seems reasonable except that this spring's boat money has already been applied to the bottom of the boat. So, anyone know of a source for used sails for a 25.5?
