used sail for 25 ft. hunter

We have installed a roller furling and want to use one of the sails that came with our 1976 25 ft Hunter. We are EXTREMELY new to sailing, so please excuse our inexperience! We have a genoa from a J24 made from something other than dacron. Will this be ok?? I think it is a 140. Thanks so much.

You will be better off by purchashing new sails, because of the mast placement. Check with a local maker or Sobstad will give you good advise.
