used oday rigging and sails

My son has an oday daysailer 16' and is looking for used sails and rigging, tiller, etc. Any thoughts as to where to start his search. Low budget operation.

I'd suggest checking out the Day Sailer Class association Web, www.daysailer.org They often list used gear and many members of the Association are big on helping young newbies! Rudy at D&R Marine may not have any used items (though sometimes he does) but he sells OEM sails that are not significantly more $$ than used ones, check eBay for a company i nSouthern Rhode Island that sells new sails (unsure of quality level?) at even better prices than D&R. For any Day Sailer SPECIFIC parts, again try D&R (508) 644-3001 or Cape Cod Shipbuilding (Wareham, MA, www.capecodshipbuilding.com)

Do you know if this boat is a Day Sailer I, II, or III? Sails and most rigging are same for all, big difference is in centerboard control setup.

You refer to the boat as 16 foot. Is it a Daysailer (16'-9") or a Ospray (15'-8")?
