I had a friend replace a mast on his H37c after dismasting. It wasn't the same, and looked terrible. No it doesn't have to be the same, but it would be so much simpler if it was. Mast step would fit. Hole in the dect the right size. Rigging points in the same place, etc. I think the original Kenyon section is still available.

Blaise not sure what a kenyon section is. Guess I don't know much about masts.
Ed I need to go back and see what you were talking about.

All I have is this smartphone and it is tough to get around on.

The mast is just a big extruded aluminum tube. You can buy sections(lengths) of this tube. For the H37C you need a fifty-two foot section of #5280. Once you get onto that link you will see. It will be very expensive. Here is a link. Scroll down to "Mathurin2" and click on his name. Then send an e-mail or PM(private message) and ask him about the mast for sale.

And remember that all you will be getting is the tube. Then there are winches and cleats and exit plates for halyards and tangs for stays and spreader brackets and . . . Be sure to ask Rig-Rite for a price on a complete mast.

I know there is a Hunter 36 or 37 in the yard I go to, as well as a few more smaller boats

Although from waterline mast height (from memory - I don't have the spec pdf with me) of the Cherubini 36 and Cherubini 37 are similar, the 36 is deck stepped, whereas the 37 mast extends down to the bilge. So the total length of the mast will very different.

Geez, you are obviously right about the #5280! Sorry for the misinformation Rick. And I have the measurements right here in front of me, duh. Rick bought his H37C without a mast I believe.

It was broke in Katrina. I have the piece in the boat... I had a 22 foot piece that came with the boat... I cut it up I should be able to recycle it... pretty heavy :)

One more thing, gents. The extrusion only comes in 25' sections and must be welded together. At least this was the case when I had to replace the bottom three feet of my mast.

Wow, really! There is no obvious joint in the 52 foot span of my mast.
I don't think the original mast was made out of 25 feet sections, it probably was made in one piece. Rigrite probably stores them in such length to save space.
