I had one on a 19' trailer sailor. It was fantastic. Fine adjustment was made with the back stay to get it taught. I suppose one could use that in combination with the multiple adjustment holes in the front to adjust rake and bend. Since I laid the bottom of the mast at the bow when towing, I was able to leave the back and side stays attached.
Your forestay will need to be replaced or shortened. I was charged $20/crimp plus hardware when I had all new rigging made.
PS - A mast raising system was the best thing I added when trailer sailing
