Upgrading an '85 30

Mates,

I'm considering the purchase of a mid-eighties catalina 30, my last catalina was a 1983 27. I was able to research recommended upgrades for the 27,such as replacing the spreader tangs and resealing the chain plates, and was hoping to find any suggestions for upgrading the 30. Thanks for any and all help
