Update on Navigation System

Good News! I received an update from the manufacturer, that they were able to complete a deal with Transas Navigator for their Nav software. We can now include it in the Base Unit, so I was able to drop the price of the unit by $200. USD. You have the option of two other different Nav Softwares, Fugawi Marine ENC and WinChart Nexus, for an additional cost. The Fugawi is more expensive, but anyone can download all the U.S. charts for free.
If anyone is going to Boat Shows, this unit is being demonstrated. It was just at the shows in London, Sweden and I demonstrated it at the Houston Int'l. Boat show. Its a great replacement or addition to all the other big name Nav systems, such as Nobeltec, Garmin and Furuno's NavNet system. You can even use this display for radar systems, wind meters, speed logs, depth sounders, fish finders, etc. Plus, the bonus of it being a full PC with Win XP Pro and Bluetooth compatible, connect to the Internet with your Bluetooth cell phone.
This unit is very versatile and easy to use.
I apologize for the commercial, but this system is great and I want to share it with my fellow sailors.
