We can get close to people here and probably bump into a lot of them all day at Annapolis boat show and never know it !

That is great to hear. I love Bretton Bay. It is my favorite place to anchor close to home.

The cliff that is half moon shaped is a great place to anchor (it is right across from the sand/gravel area). It is plenty deep and gets shade earlier.

Maybe we can get a bunch of us together during the boat show.

Other thought.....We may try to have a raft-up in Canoe Neck Creek this September. We shall see. I need to get some boat stuff done first.
Thanks Bad, keep us posted re, plans.
It might be a long (weekend) haul for us to sail up to the St Clements area from Norfolk in Sept. BUT... meeting in Annapolis for the show in Oct, (on Sat), then maybe leaving the show in the late afternoon and driving down to either Leonardtown (Salsas) or Morris Pt for dinner might be a nice way for many of us ( including Jim ) to get together.

This forum really brings out the best in people. I don't know Jim but have benefited from his posts over the years. Its always sad to hear when someone's health is affected but oh so inspiring to hear when that challenge is taken on. All the best to Jim and to his loved ones. Stay the course Captain!

Jim is currently moored temp. at Solomons and plans to return to his slip on Saturday. Joan and Jim have been sailing for over a week with daughter and grandchild. He is undergoing chemo and the numbers for those what I am talking about are so far down that it is near normal.. He has 8 more sessions to go. Spirits are way high and if he gets over this God willing, the Captain or should I say Joan, has authorized a bigger boat. Boy I was caught off guard for the bigger boat. He is planning on a trip to the Keys early next year. I know Joan and he will have cool posterior ends for the first part of the trip. Jim is a fighter and his spirits are high. News is excellent and he is living life to the fullest. The only bad part is the fact he puts up with old Crazy Dave. Gosh, I quit counting the years I have been Casper the friendly pest. Crazy Dave Condon
Good news. Thanks for the news.
