interested in what others have done to add to the pure pleasure of cruising. not talking about anything functional to sailing. just pure enjoyment or something to please your mate. ie; TV, micowave, or whatever!

Upgrades which count!

If you don't have a bimini and have been cooking your brains in the hot sun, you don't know what you're missing. Also, install some 120 volt shore powered interior lighting (if you don't already have it) and for the 1st mate/ Admiral, add a 12 volt receptacle in the head for battery powered curling iron. Of course I have a 12 volt receptacle in the cockpit for a 300,000 candle power search light for night sailing thru crab pots or finding unlighted day marks.

Bigger boats!

Hehe, I think the biggest upgrade for us has been to get a boat big enough to stand up in! Other than that, the stereo is mandatory, even though a boom-box will do in a pinch.
