Read the article in the Head Mistress forum

Reference Library called "Fresh Water Maintenance"...it gives complete instructions for recommissioning the system. The Reference Library, btw, is not in archived posts...Click on the HeadMistress forum in the list on the home page...the reference Library will be on the "home page" of the forum. There are also a whole bunch of other articles in it you'll find useful.

340 advice

I unwinterize my 340 by: 1. pumping all the antifreeze out of my water tank. 2. pumping all the antifreeze out of my hot water tank and then reconnecting it. 3. Then adding a tank of water and running it through all the water outlets. I flush until I cannot see pink coming out of the faucets, and then flush some more. The pink apparently will not hurt one, but there isn't any point in drinking a pink liquid unless it has some kick to it. <grin> Pump can be run indefinitely without problems. I have run a full tank through without causing any problems. In fact we have some of the locals that will run two full tanks through before using the water system.
