Just use a short length of 6awg coax w/connectors to put filter inline. (maybe just screw it onto controller?) Dangers are minimal and I'd skip the fuse. As MaineSail and I both suggested earlier; buy another controller if your having problems with this one! Chief

i didnt haver to do anything wierd or spectacular with my PWM controllers..they are fine... sorry you had troubles with your mppt controller.
mebbe the answer is pwm...even tho folks complained about theirs in past, mine are fine, and working perfectly well. even after many years..i installed it into my ericson in 2004, removed it for my formosa in 2010...working awesome great. sorry you didnt have similar experience.
