As many of you know, SB 235 has been issued identifying possible camshaft problems in Universal M35B engines with date codes of Eoo1 and earlier. Has anyone checked their Eoo1 engine to see if the spacer is missing? If so, what was the result and what was your serial number? I'm trying to find out if my engine YG0291-E001 has the problem without driving 500 miles to remove the raw water pump and check it. Any information will be very much appreciated. Reason I suggest this is that we Catalina 34 owners also have had a lot of discussion about the applicability of this issue. The related link indicates that the serial number of the engine is NOT necessarily the KEY to finding out if you need the fix. Good luck, Stu
