Universal M25XPA motor mounts

The rear motor mounts for the Universal M25XPA in my Catalina 28 are looking a bit tired no doubt contributing to excessive vibration ar idle in or out of gear. I see several choices for replacements (Bushing Inc, Vetus, Universal) with big differences in price. I'd like to know what others have used for this problem & how happy they are with the results. Thanks

If the vibration is only at idle, you might want to check the rpm before you start pulling mounts. The Universals will vibrate if set too low. Carl

Vetus Mounts

there is a good thread on this subject on the C36 website - I think the universal mounts are the same. The comments from those that replaced recommended the Vetus mounts .

Carl, Thanks for the response. You sure have that right! Still, it seems to be worse than others I've seen & I've got the idle up to +1000 RPM. The rear mounts actually appear to have collapsed somewhat compared to the front mounts. Alex

Mark, I too am interested in this thread,

but can't find anything on Vetus Engine Mounts using the search on the C36 website - do you by chance have a link to the thread?
